I am passionate about walking alongside individuals, children, adolescents, and families as they navigate life’s challenges — including trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, relationship concerns, and behavioral struggles. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, honoring each client’s unique identity, strengths, and lived experience.
In our work together, I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and creative strategies including Art and Play Therapy. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and grounded in trust, so treatment plans are always tailored to your goals, values, and comfort level.
My priority is to create a safe, welcoming, and affirming environment where clients of all backgrounds feel respected, supported, and heard. I am especially dedicated to working with children and teens, while also supporting families, first responders, military personnel, and individuals across all stages of life.
My clinical experience spans hospitals, schools, community counseling centers, adoption and foster care programs, early intervention services, DHS programs, and MHIDD programs before transitioning into outpatient private practice. These experiences have shaped my holistic, flexible, and deeply compassionate approach to care.
I believe healing begins with connection, and that seeking support is a courageous step. Together, we will build on your strengths, explore meaningful insights, and work toward greater resilience, emotional well-being, and a more empowered future.
Outside of my work, I cherish time with family and friends, enjoy crafting, and find peace in the outdoors with a warm cup of coffee in hand. At home, I’m happiest spending time with my pets and appreciating simple, quiet moments.
